So, I am not new here, but am not a super active user of the ol' Lovelab, though I think it (and the other sites like it) is pretty fascinating, beyond being places where one can look at cute people that they will never talk to. There's that weird moment when you are walking around in real life [hold on a second, that's not the weird part], and you spot someone that you have never met, but you've read a bunch of their thoughts on life, and you know that they don't eat meat, and they smoke when drinking, or whatever. And that's kind of weird.
I just finished that last foreign language requirement and have now earned my Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from UW. If you know what that is, that's awesome. If not: it's essentially physical product design, for mass production. I started school almost exactly ten years after getting my 2-year degree; it's a little bit weird to be around a bunch of classmates who just started to drink legally, and also were born after The Simpsons went on the air. (update, ha, now I've spent the summer with people who can't even drink legally, though they're all lovely people) So, you know, *ideally* you would be somewhere within about ten years of my age. Because sometimes I like to make references.
I'm not spiritual OR religious, but I'm not a super villain. I text in complete sentences, and am psyched that my current phone makes it really easy to use semi-colons. Not for emoticons, just to be clear.
I don't hate TV, but I definitely don't watch it constantly, either.
I get annoyed with people who say things like, "I could care less", and in that same line of thinking, I literally get very slightly annoyed when someone misuses the word "literally" to mean "figuratively".
What is something that people are surprised to find out about you? I'm not vegetarian. I do tend to get along with them pretty well, but that's more something that *I'm* surprised by.
Where do you like to hang out? Ballard. Either Sun Liquor. Either Rancho Bravo. Dick's. Wherever awesome food is found, generally.
How far will you travel to meet the right person? All the way to the internet. Ideally, though, you would be within Seattle city limits.
My radio dial is usually tuned to: KEXP and KUOW.
Who’s someone you’d like to be trapped in a confined space with? someone cute and interesting who isn't claustrophobic. If you feel the same way, maybe we can work something out?
If I could change one thing about Seattle, it would be: Make it so it doesn't take half an hour to get nearly everywhere.
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are vegans, republicans, and regular smokers. ...Of anything. [meats and fish are acceptable, though if you smoke those every day, I may want some explanation]
I want to make a t-shirt that says "Shirt" next to a box with a green check mark. This, along with the matching shoes would ensure entry into all but the most exclusive establishments.
My picture(s) reveal that I am also a fan of *visual* puns.
My idea of a great date is a good show, but not so good a show that you can't tell if you liked me, or just the music.
When stuck in gridlock I listen to NPR; perfect for those "Driveway Moments"
The quickest way to my heart is wit, absence of malice. The quickest way to my bed is through my heart; should I be investigating a quicker route? And in the morning, I like my eggs cooked scrambled, and please add salt before cooking. Chipotle Tabasco optional.
The last show I saw was The Torn ACLs.
I know they say "Everybody refuses to answer this question ", but I never have.
A fault my friends tease me about is I have a few more pairs of Converse than most.
It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm making breakfast.
Something people keep buying me for gifts and I never use is action figures. Seriously, I think I'm doing a good enough job scaring away girls on my own, guys.
One sport I will never get is cricket. ...I might have even read part of the enormous wikipedia article on it.
When I was a kid, I actually owned a a ColecoVision, with the game "Cabbage Patch Kids: Adventures in the Park."
