I Saw U

3rd Ave-Business District

When: Wednesday, October 29, 2014

I see you a few times a week. We pass in the hallways or you stop into my place of work. Our interactions take place in a professional setting; you interface with me because of your job. I sense you are interested, as am I, but do or say nothing because of the aforementioned facts. Want to grab a drink?

Cute queer at Odesza show

When: Friday, October 24, 2014

My adrenaline was high when i stepped onto the dance floor of Odesza at Showbow Market on friday. I saw you standing there with your group of friends. You were wearing one of those cute letterman jackets that football players wear, your leg was in a large leg brace (hope you're okay), and your cute pixie cut and tall figure caught my eye. I couldn't help myself from dancing near you hoping you'd notice, but according to my encouraging boyfriend (who had no problem with our eye flirting) noticed when I danced next to you, you "were picking up what I was putting down". Please don't be a stranger.

Kevin Starbucks 23rdAve last year

When: Thursday, October 31, 2013

Dear Kevin, I met you while I was working at my store in the Central District last year -- it was on Halloween and I was wearing ridiculous red blinking glasses, which you complemented... the next time you came to visit, we chatted and you asked for my info. -- I was taken aback and ran to get my card for you. I told you to "email me," and you seemed disappointed; I immediately regretted not saying something more compelling... I've wished you would've called (or emailed) on so many occasions -- what happened to you? Did you make it to NYC as a firefighter??
Please say hi if you're around. I can't believe it's been one year, but I still remember you. I hadn't felt that excited about someone in a long time...

Pizza Boy, Wrong House

When: Monday, October 27, 2014

I was delivering food to the person living in the studio behind your house. You answered your door and made me a sucker for freckles and an Australian accent immediately before showing me where to go. Thanks for being wonderful and making my day.

Pride Parade breathtaker

When: Sunday, June 29, 2014

You were hanging out with your friends outside some bar on 4th. I saw your neon patchwork jacket, sexy haircut, and fuzzy boots (lol) and thought to my drunken self "deng she look good". So I went out 'for a cigarette' and told you that I loved your outfit. You asked me for a hug which blew my mind. When you walked away, we kept looking back at each other. Still can't get you out of my head. Let's give each other more butterflies.

Sweet Phishead Girl at Neptune

When: Friday, October 24, 2014

We met at the moe. concert at the Neptune last night. You were a tall pretty bunette girl wearing a white crocheted sweater I think. I have long hair and side burns and was wearing a tie dyed Furthur shirt. We talked about Scorsese's Dead documentary, the Last Waltz, and the killer Phish show from day 2 in Santa Barbara. You said you went to the University of Vermont and just moved to Seattle. Kicking myself for not getting your name or number, I think we might be musical soulmates. Hit me up and lets hang out sometime.

Easy Street Breakfast Glances

When: Saturday, October 25, 2014

You: the most gorgeous dark-haired and stunningly beautiful mom of a son and daughter eating breakfast at Easy Street this morning (your daughter ordered a straggler plate of pancake and bacon). Me: the girl seated behind you in the corner who wished she'd walked up to you and let you know how beautifully stunning you are.
Though it's doubtful that you read 'I Saw U' ads in the Stranger, I feel compelled to put it out here... mostly so I won't feel a similar regret that I didn't at least mouth to you that I think you're just about the most beautiful woman I've ever seen as you walked past me in the window of Easy Street and caught my eye (like you did the few times you turned around in the booth to look at me). So I'll write it now. "You're probably the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on, and I wish we could have a cup of coffee together."
