I Saw U

Tuesday evening, 40, northbound

When: Tuesday, October 7, 2014

You had dark hair and wrote in a yellow notebook. Occasionally you pushed your glasss up in a manner that struck me as august, and so cute. I was the short-haired blonde in a brown paisley dress and denim jacket.
You're dashing, and you made me blush. Do it again?

When: Tuesday, October 7, 2014

We were waiting in our cars at the intersection and you commented on mine because it was almost the same as yours. Would like to talk old Mercedes with you over coffee sometime. I need advice!

Renegade of Rhythm

When: Wednesday, October 8, 2014

The music was so loud all I could do was nod at you even though I couldn't hear anything. You - the most beautiful creature who has ever walked this earth or any other. Me, the guy wearing the faux pas concert tee. You mouthed 'text me' as we left the neptune but only later realized you must have tried to give me your number earlier. Here's some Food For Thought. Maybe I believe youre the one.

Andrea, I miss you...

When: Sunday, January 18, 2009

You were the kind soul who showed me understanding And acceptance on my birthday in Jan 2007 in the restaurant in Magnolia, when I was all alone in the my moment of unease..You did something for me that no one ever did for me in my life And I still think about that everyday and night And I will not forget it..Ever..
Believe me I know, I know that I didn't show you the proper appreciation & gratitude for it that manners dictate...I didn't call you up, I didn't mail you a thank you card/ gift certificates. Other than a thank you note posted on Stranger Magazine's "I saw u" section, I didn't do anything else to show my gratitude, personally.
When I saw you a just a few months after, sitting on the bench by the water overlooking the ocean as I passed you by, I felt you didn't want to talk to me.
I feel you had every right to feel negative about me. I understand that.
All I want to say is to tell you the truth as to why I couldn't, and why it wasn't a smart idea at the time. Not because I was seeing anyone, not because I felt that I didn't need friends and I am above everyone else, oh no. The truth is, you in my life at that time would be very Unsafe for you. Because of the nature and circumstances regarding my Job, at the time..After opening my eyes and realizing that I was working for a "legalized racket" that would stop at nothing to prevent exposure. So I was walking on egg shells.
I knew if I had you in my life then, and share my problems with you, you could get caught in the crossfire and get hurt. And I will be less then a man if I ever let something happen to a kind lady like you.
Believe me when I say this Andrea, I don't call just any woman "A Lady". Only those who are kind and thoughtful as You...
:)

D-Line, Tweed Cap, 6:00-ish

When: Tuesday, October 7, 2014

You were sitting on one of the sideways-facing rows of seats. Tall, short/shaved grey hair, tweed cap, jacket, glasses. Concentrated on your phone. Large, sculptural hands. You weren't facing me, or I would have attempted to catch your eye, and I exited through the back door. Consider this a late eye-catch?

72X bus - lucky smiles

When: Tuesday, October 7, 2014

Got on at Westlake Station wearing a dark green Trollfest beanie. We were seated across from each other, you wore a light coat and had a large binder in your lap. I wanted to say "You are gorgeous" as you left, but after 15 minutes of shy eyes and half smiles, you were still on the bus. Then we locked eyes, grinned, and you waved. Not 5 minutes later, I got a new job. May I buy you a drink for being my good lucking charmer?
